Only 7 episodes into S8 so far, but if I had to, I'd stick it up next to S3 (tied).

Seasons 5, 1, 2, & 3 are my favorites when it comes to mere enjoyment level, since they are the first seasons that I viewed. After watching a few seasons of 24, you know what to expect. But i think if you re-watch the seasons on multiple occasions & juxtapose them, ranking them on quality only, I think seasons like 7 & 8 might surpass... say... seasons 2 & 3 for me. However, I enjoyed S2 & S3 more.

After rewatching season 7 it's definitely my favorite. Even the White House raid didn't seem as bad the second time around. Still not my favorite, but I liked it better on rewatch. So much easier to follow. I'm still having issues getting into 8. Maybe if they brought Tony in!

Bringing Tony back would be nothing more than a contrivance unless the second half of the season revolves around the Alan Wilson conspiracy group.
And from what I've heard, he's not returning this season.

Just because I rate them, that doesn't mean that the last seasons on my list weren't bad. I just enjoyed some seasons a little bit more on the upper end. For sure however, season 5 was best and season 6 was last, but others were a little hard. HOWEVER, IN MY OPINION, EVERY SEASON OF 24 WAS EXCELLENT!

What do you rank higher: the even seasons (seasons 2, 4, 6, & 8) or the odd seasons (1, 3, 5, & 7)?
I'd have to go with the odd.

The other day, I was bored so I popped in Season 3 Disk 5 so I can watch the Chappelle death episode. It's amazing how great that episode is. The entire second half of that season is money.

I liked that episode as well. Now after watching all the seasons again, here's my rank again:

Same as my last post, that just because it's different that doesn't mean they were bad seasons. Some were just a little bit higher in standards than others.
