I saw Valentine's Day on Saturday. Good movie. Taylor Swift was kinda funny.

I always go by what Mitch Cyrus says, because he seems to be the most accurate critic by far IMO. And this is what he says: This mess of a film is getting rightfully slaughtered by the critics. Way too many "stars" means that there is zero depth to any character, just a bunch of skits that may or may not have anything to do with the rest of the film. The worst part? The studio's decision to completely ignore the "gayness" of one relationship. Bradley Cooper and Eric Dane are supposed to play a gay couple, but you wouldn't know it from the commercials showing Cooper "flirting" with Jennifer Garner.
Every year, I take my wife to a movie of her choice over Valentine's Day weekend, with the promise being that I won't review it. What I'm most grateful for this year? She doesn't want to see this mess...she wants to see Percy Jackson. Whew.

Somehow that's what I'd expect from a guy. Actually he got part of it wrong.
No, haven't seen Avatar. It really didn't appeal to me, but based on the sales it must be better than I think.

It's nice to know I'm not the only American between the ages of 12 & 50 that didn't go see it.

No, I thought that was me. Somehow blue people just don't interest me. I may just wait for the DVD.

Watching it on DVD wont have even close to the same effect, but I still wanna rent it. Do you have HD / Blue Ray?

I saw Alice in Wonderland last night. Pretty good, the special affects are really awesome. Of course, I saw it in 3D so that helped.

In a few years, I bet everything is gonna be in 3D. This is the just the beginning.

I heard Shutter Island wasn't very good, but who knows. I'm not really into horror.
This was the first 3D movie I think I'd seen since Superman. I don't go to an awful lot of movies. It was pretty good though. Someone mentioned that they thought that Alice and Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass were combined into this movie. I liked it and I don't usually care for Johnny Depp movies.

I just saw Shutter Island.
It's not really a horror film. It wasn't bad. The ending really MADE the movie. I'd recommend it.

I saw Avatar this weekend. It was okay. I also saw the Blind Side. That was an amazing movie. You have to see that one.

I do want to see that when it comes out on DVD. Is it better than Remember the Titans or Invictus (my two favorite sports movies)?
